Invitation to become part of Easter Festival

Port St Francis will once again this year give the visitor to the greater St Francis area some entertainment over Easter Weekend, April 6 – 9.  The theme is the environment and sport, but no festival is a festival without a crafters market, food, music, fun and games.

eco-easter-festivalThis is a perfect opportunity for individuals, businesses and local charity organisations to join in and become part of this four day festival.  Any person making or selling quality hand made products are welcome to take up a stall at R50 per day, or if your charity organisation is in need of good publicity and funds, make sure you book your stand for the period.  The market will be inside Dock of the Bay, so the festivities can proceed regardless what weather 6312 will have!

Festivities will officially kick off with a Full Moon Fish Festival on Friday night, Good Friday, all in aid of the NSRI.  However, the daily program that includes kids entertainment, art workshops, marine touch tanks and environmental displays will already be open to our visitors from 10:00.

Afternoons will be enjoyed on Squid Square with music during Sundowner Hour, and Sunday will be the official Port St Francis Open Day when you can see what happens on a chokka boat and meet some of the NSRI crew.  Sport equipment and boats will also be on display, and sportsmen can choose between 8 different sporting events.

If you are interested in taking up some space for your business or charity, contact Jo on 076 393 4092 or Esti on 073 825 0835.
